The sight of well where hundreds of women jumped with their children to escape from the bullets of British troops stands there still. Wagah Border-: At a distance of 28 km from the main city, the Wagah border is a worthy place to visit especially in the evening to witness the evening parade ceremony. The borderline is running along the Grand Trunk Road between Amritsar in Punjab, India, and Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. The ceremony includes the soldiers from the Indian and Pakistan military, where they meet and display their military showmanship. The place is jam packed with visitors from both the side.
